How To Use A Capo Testimonials

“Bar Chord Bill Learns the Capo”

I got the course no problem and will work on it. I play with a group. I’m known as “Barre Chord Bill.” Started playing Barre Chords from one of your original courses years ago. Also took lessons from an instructor who told me, “If you want to play in a band, you have to learn Barre Chords and play standing up." This was over 15 years ago!!!

I played in groups where I was the only guy who could play up and down the neck with barre chords. Everyone else were using open chords. I was playing from the 5th - the 12th fret. In still am. Kind of did this ass backwards. Now it's time for me to understand the Capo and get back to open chords. I’m 75 years old now. Time to teach this old guy some new tricks.

“One blind spot finally sorted.”

Just thought I'd let you know that I have been revisiting your capo course. I did it a year ago but didn't quite get it. This time, the penny has dropped. I even found myself playing Bb, Eb and F without capo, then A, D and E with capo at the first fret, just to convince myself that the notes are the same. They are, of course!

Just shows the value of coming back to some of these courses more than once. so that things you didn't get your head around first time now fall into place. One blind spot finally sorted.

“Very Very Helpful For Me!”

This really opened up a lot for me Jonathon. To hear the layering of the different voicings keeping with the target key was very very helpful for me in understanding how to use a capo. Thanks!

“Well done!”

Jonathan, Well done once again. This course is good on it's own, as a refresher on capo usage or as an intro to guitar theory.
