Common questions. Plain answers.
Most of the questions people email me come down to one of these. Have a scan first. If your answer isn't here, the contact form is at the bottom and I read every one of those myself.
One
Account and login.
- I forgot my password, or it isn't working.
- Use the forgot-password link on the login page. The email that comes back logs you straight in, it does not hand you a password. Once you are in, set one you will remember using the "Set a password" box on your account page. Email me a login link.
- How do I change my password to something I'll actually remember?
- Log in, then go to your account page and use the "Set a password" box. You do not need your old password, and you do not have to wait on an email. Set my password.
- I bought a course but I can't see it.
- Your courses are tied to the email you bought with. Log in with that email and it'll be there. If it still isn't, send me a note and I'll sort it out.
- I already had an account and bought again. What's my password?
- Nothing changed. Log in with the email and password you already use. Your new course was added to that same account automatically.
Two
Orders and payment.
- Is my card charge secure?
- Yes. Payments run through Stripe and PayPal, both industry-standard processors. The site never sees your card number directly.
- What can I pay with?
- Any major card through Stripe, or PayPal. Apple Pay and Google Pay show up automatically on supported devices.
- Will I get a receipt?
- Yes. It's emailed to you right after you buy, along with your login details.
- Do you accept international orders?
- Yes. The courses are online, so it doesn't matter where you are. If your card works online, it works here.
- Why are prices in US dollars?
- The site prices everything in US dollars. Your bank converts it to your own currency at checkout, at whatever the day's rate is.
Three
Refunds.
- What if I want a refund?
- 60 days from the day you buy. Email me, no questions, the money goes back on the card you paid with. Read the full guarantee.
- Have you ever turned one down?
- Not once inside the 60-day window.
Four
Courses and access.
- How long do I have access?
- For good. Once you buy a course it's yours to keep, rewatch as many times as you want.
- What can I watch on?
- Anything with a browser, phone, tablet, laptop. The tabs and PDFs download so you can print them or keep them on your device.
- Do I need to be an advanced player?
- No. Most of my students can already play a bit but never learned why any of it works. If you can hold a few chords, you're fine.
Five
Technical and device.
- The video won't play.
- It's almost always the browser or the connection. Try a different browser and check your internet. If it still won't go, send me a note with what you're seeing.
- Where are the tabs and the downloads?
- On the lesson page, just below the video. Click to download.
