A Minor Jam Track
E Minor Jam Track
The rest of the riffs in this course will be demonstrated using the second jam track, which is in E minor instead of A minor. Therefore, the riffs will be tabbed out in E minor – however I must point out that you can use any of the riffs in this course in any key.
One of the great ways of breaking the “sounds like a scale” rut is simply by skipping strings. That automatically introduces more gap in between your notes. We start this riff by doing that, then jump up and grab the two notes on the 12th fret which together form a beautiful sounding fourth interval.
