Slow Blues in A Jam Track

Now on my second pass through this lesson, having used the first pass to learn the licks. I’m now focusing on the core issue, which is how the notes are derived from the underlying chords. In terms of hearing how good it sounds to match the notes to the chords, and in getting the timing right, I found it really useful to follow your suggestion to just play this first phrase over the jam track, matching the position on the fretboard to the chords. Feels and sounds like I’m getting somewhere!
