Years ago a good friend of mine had this unique way of playing acoustic guitar, and it really impacted my playing as I developed over the years. In this section, we’re learning a combination of strumming and picking patterns, rolled all together with some other goodies added in as well. We’ll be aiming at developing a robust, dynamic and interesting style that I’ve affectionately dubbed “The Thing” for lack of a better term. Let’s dig in!
