In the the first section on riffs, we looked at whole bar riffs. There you had more time to slip a riff in, but the reality is, we don’t always have a whole bar to get the job done! In this section we’ll step it up a little bit, and shorten our phrases to just half a bar. If you can master the art of slipping riffs into half a bar, you’ll be riffing all over the place!
